Whether your’re trying to avoid daily overdoses of fluoride in your toothpaste or just looking for a more natural way to clean and treat your teeth, this all natural homemade toothpaste recipe is sure to fit your needs!

Real Quick – What Is Fluoride?

Commercial toothpaste contains fluoride.

In the most accurate terms, fluoride is a neuro-toxin that damages your pineal gland and causes harm to the body.

Growing up, most of us have been told that fluoride is good for us. In fact, if you have sensitive gums, like me, it’s very likely your dentist advised you to brush with fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day.

Fluoride is actually a chemical waste labeled as hazardous toxin by the FDA. Aside from toothpaste, fluoride can be found in roach spray, pesticides and our water.

Once I discovered how harmful fluoride was, I began searching for a natural way to clean my teeth. Here’s a simple recipe I have been using.

What You Will Need To Make This All Natural Homemade Toothpaste

Ingredients for homemade all natural toothpaste

***I would recommend buying baking soda from your local store, the below item is for a 5 pound bag.

Baking Soda

6 TABLEspoons

Baking soda is a natural deodorizer. Used in all natural homemade toothpaste, it will work to get rid of bad breath. It is also less abrasive on your teeth than commercial toothpaste. To top it off, baking soda’s a natural tooth whitener, so prepare to show those pearls!

Coconut Oil

6 TABLEspoons

Coconut oil fights tooth decaying bacteria. Therefore, it will help prevent cavities and other oral infections. In fact, you should also try mouth washing, a few times out of the week, with just a spoon full of coconut oil. Brushing daily with coconut oil can help with dry lips, as well.

Sea Salt

1 TEAspoon

Sea salt is another teeth whitening ingredient and is used to gently scrub your teeth. The salt will add a hint of flavor to your toothpaste, but I like it because it gets rid of the less favorable taste of the baking soda, lol!

Peppermint Essential Oil

15-20 Drops

Peppermint oil gives the toothpaste a nice, refreshing taste.

Okay, so grab some ingredients and get to mixing! It’s best to keep this mixture in a glass container – you can find them for $1 at dollar tree.

Comment below and let me know how your all natural homemade toothpaste works out for you 🙂 Let’s say no to toxins. When we know better, we do better!
